IVF after 40?

The results were favorable, and since time flies in such cases, Dr. Oleksandr Mazurenko recommended not to wait and to begin IVF without delay. Shortly afterward, the eggs were retrieved and fertilized. Thanks to the expertise and precise workof embryologist Ing. Martin Jindra, a total of four healthy embryos were created.
Genetic Testing of the Embryos
Since the risk of genetic defects increases with age, genetic testing was a necessary step. This allowed for the selection of the healthiest embryo with the best chances for successful development and a healthy pregnancy. The genetic analysis not only minimized the risk of complications but also raised the chances of a positive outcome.
Embryo Transfer: The Wait Ended with a Big Surprise
The transfer itself went smoothly, and after two weeks of waiting, the couple could slowly start embracing their new family title: success was achieved on the first try, and preparations for parenthood could begin. Thanks to the compassionate approach of the medical team and the meticulous work of the embryologist, their dream became a reality, and nine months later, their baby girl was born. She is living proof that with modern science and personalized care, it’s possible to welcome your long-awaited family member, even at an age when many lose hope.
