Thanks to modern laboratory methods we are able to determine or rule out whether the quality of the uterine lining (endometrium) is the possible cause of repeated miscarriages or embryo transfer failures. In the early stages of pregnancy, it allows the embryo to implant itself, participates in the formation of the placenta and secretes some substances that are important for the development of the embryo.
One of such methods is the Endometrial Receptivity Array (ERA) test. The ERA test is simply a test of the quality of the mucosa. This test is very sensitive and allows to determine the best moment, when the lining of the uterus is ready to receive the embryo.
Another method now offered in all our centers is REPROgnostics - examination of the uterine lining, which helps us determine whether the cause is immunological, or whether the problem behind repeated miscarriages is chronic inflammation of the mucosa.
Last but not least, we recommend the Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT). A common cause of miscarriages is a genetic abnormality of the embryo. Thanks to preimplantation testing, we can check the genetic equipment of the embryo and then select an embryo suitable for transfer. This will significantly increase the likelihood of pregnancy and at the same time it will reduce the risk of miscarriage.
In case of repeated miscarriages, do not hesitate to contact the specialists at our centers to determine the appropriate therapy. The solution is often very simple, don’t wait any longer.
