Polycystic ovary syndrome – PCOS

It is a malfunction of endocrine glands, which affects a considerable number of women of reproductive age (up to 5% of women). It is a disease that causes malfunction in a woman's reproductive abilities. Patients with this syndrome have a higher risk of occurrence of the hyperstimulation syndrome during hormonal stimulation of ovaries before IVF.
