ET is a fast and painless transfer of a fresh embryo to the uterus. On the day of transfer, you will come to the clinic with your partner, talk to the embryologist and together select one of the embryos that best developed for transfer. We will freeze the others.
The transfer itself takes 10 minutes and is similar to a regular gynecological examination. The embryo is transferred to the uterus by an experienced physician with a thin cannula under the control of ultrasound. After transferring, we let you rest for about 40 minutes.
In the vast majority of cases, we transfer only one embryo to the uterus. The likelihood of getting pregnant after ET is high. Success depends on the quality of the embryo and the uterine lining which are things we can keep an eye on at PRONATAL
